On Wednesday I attended an MPI Meeting in the Northeast for a presentation on the State of the Meetings Industry. It was uplifting to hear that the meetings industry is projected to increase 11% in the number of meetings and 14% in meeting revenue in 2011. 30% of the increases will be by third party firms such as ADI Meetings! Also, budgets are bigger and locations are key! Good news for all- It's going to be a great 2011 for our industry!
